Poem

HATEFUL LOVE

Falling softly from your grasp
Your sweet taste still lingers
your heart's steel on mine does rasp
Worked by your thin red fingers

With heat of brimstone and,
In agony, we're forged as one
I now inhabbit a darkened land,
I never get to see the sun

And while you flutter above my ground,
Forgetting forged we've been,
I drag beneath, without a sound
Flailing, largely unseen

And though may black be your soul
Without it's light, am I unwhole
